The heiress project (project 3 - part 3)

After a bit of a hiatus, it was time to get back on track with this project. During one of the tutorials Elys Dolan suggested this story might be too big for the regular picture book format. Instead I might consider turning it into a graphic novel.

Elys was absolutely right in suggesting this, but a graphic novel felt quite daunting in size. Thus resulting in a bit of a creative paralysis on my side because of - well - fear. This week therefore has been about calming myself down and trying to gently build up toward actual images to go into the story.

A few weeks earlier I had brought a visit to the zoo to do some sketching. I really tried to study the more historical parts of the zoo as well as some of the animals I might want to portray later on.
